Paul M. Spring, M.D.
Born in Vienna, Austria and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Paul Spring received his undergraduate degree in German Literature from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he played intercollegiate ice hockey for the Wolverines. Afterwards, Dr. Spring attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH prior to moving to New Orleans in the early 1990s. Dr. Spring completed a one-year internship in General Surgery and a four-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. Following completion, he moved himself and his family to Houston, Texas and completed a two-year fellowship in advanced head and neck cancer surgery at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Spring then rose through the academic ranks as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY and subsequently he attained the position of Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He returned to New Orleans in order to become a contributing member of the Greater New Orleans Otolaryngology community practicing primarily at East Jefferson General Hospital (an LCMC affiliate) and a stand-alone surgery center on Veterans Boulevard, the Advanced Surgery Center of Metairie.
As of January 1, 2021, Dr. Spring has opened his own private practice designated Spring ENT. He undertook this endeavor so that he may convey his own practice style and approach to otolaryngology disorders with a direct focus on thyroid surgery, complex sinus surgery, allergy treatment, and sleep related disorders, not to mention a strong focus on hearing and more simple ear problems.
Dr. Keri Mayeux
Dr. Keri Mayeux is a licensed audiologist who has been in practice since 1998. She received her B.A. from LSU in 1996 and completed her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of South Alabama in 1998. She earned her Doctorate Degree in Audiology in 2003 from the AT Stills University of Health Sciences. She has been working as an audiologist in an ENT practice in Metairie since 2004. Dr. Mayeux resides in Metairie with her husband and daughter. She enjoys all that New Orleans has to offer such as festivals, food, and local music. Dr. Mayeux has also supervised Audiology Doctoral students from the LSU-HSC in New Orleans. She looks forward to being your partner in your hearing and balance healthcare.
